Recreational marijuana measures passed Tuesday in: California, Massachusetts, Nevada and Maine. Medical cannabis has been legalized in North Dakota, Arkansas, Florida and Montana (again). The only “L” that was taken occured in the state of Arizona. Although there are already healthy medical marijuana laws in place, voters opted “no” on any further marijuana legislation.
This brings the new total of recreational states to 8, plus DC, and raises the total number of medical marijuana states within the US to 29. The question now on everyone’s mind is, exactly how many states does it take to pass pro-cannabis laws before the Federal Government reschedules this harmless, uniquely medically beneficial plant?
