The House of Cannabis: A New Marijuana-themed Museum in NYC

From its beginning 6,000 years ago to the present-day impact, visitors are taken on a mesmerizing journey.
THE EUPHORIUM
The "Euphorium" exhibit invites visitors to relax on massive spinning vinyl records while being entranced by a light installation that complements the nostalgic throwback music. The multi-genre soundtrack, from "Paper Planes" to "Pass the Dutchie," is guaranteed to leave visitors feeling relaxed and possibly even dozing off into a psychedelic slumber.
THE FORUM
The next exhibit addresses issues surrounding marijuana and law enforcement from a unique perspective. Using personal stories of New Yorkers, visitors will be educated on the negative impact these practices can have on education, immigration, incarceration, and other aspects of life. Led by the Drug Policy Alliance (DPA), this exhibit aims to enlighten visitors on the unknown ways these practices can have negative ripple effects.
THE JOINT
"The Joint" is an ever-changing gallery space that showcases artists' work related to cannabis culture. The first exhibit is "The Art of Sneakers," a sneaker-centric gallery that showcases detailed art pieces depicting street fashion and sneaker culture that visitors will marvel at.
THE GROW
The next exhibit takes visitors to the third floor and details the complex cultivation process of the cannabis plant and the specific conditions it needs to grow. Live plants in the first-ever urban grow demonstrate the fascinating life cycle of the plant.
THE MICROVERSE
The "Microverse" exhibit takes visitors on a journey into the microscopic elements of the cannabis atom. The reflective wall detailing and mirrored floor create a transportative effect that immerses visitors in the atom's intricate details.
THE OLFACTORY
In "The Olfactory" exhibit, visitors experience the natural terpenes found in the cannabis plant through an aromatic journey. Six unique sensations, including lust, laughter, energy, sleep, creativity, and calmness, are experienced through the plant's scents.
SEED TO SOUL
"Seed to Soul" is a visual display that reflects rapper Currency's lyrics onto the wall projection. The exhibit showcases the beautiful intertwining of music and cannabis culture.
THE SPOT
On the second floor, visitors are welcomed to "The Spot," a replica of a park designed to take visitors back to their favorite hangouts. A giant tree provides a gathering space for visitors to relax and enjoy the ambiance.
THE HYPNODROME
The final exhibit, "The Hypnodrome," is a trippy and immersive experience that replicates memories and consciousness through AI-generated vibrant colors and intense sound vibrations. Visitors will be left wondering if it's possible to feel high without cannabis products.
